We have been struggling to get fluid out of Margaux's left ear since Thanksgiving. She took a hearing test and discovered it was affecting her hearing. She was constantly complaining about the birds singing in her ears and that her throat hurt. Dr. Occhipinti said he didn't have any more tricks up his sleeve and surgery would be needed.
Today Margaux had to get tubes put into her ears for the second time and have her adnoids removed. Dr. Occhipinti performed the surgery at Lakeside Tulane Hospital. They took great care of her and we were back home by noon. She did great! Once we got home she was ready to play and eat all the ice cream that we had promised her.
