My mom and I had an amazing trip to New York. It was a Mother's Day Gift from Danny. We flew non-spot JetBlue to JFK and stayed at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

Arrived in NY and checked into the Marriott and admired the incredible view from our room on the 18th floor. After unpacking, we found our way to Rockerfeller Center to pick up Jimmy Fallon Tickets and have lunch. It was a bit overwhelming navigating our way around New York. After waiting forever in a line, we finally made it into the taping of Jimmy Fallon. The audience was not shown on the TV, but at the end of the show, Jimmy went up into the audience and I got a High Five!

Woke up early and grabbed a coffee and muffin at Roxy's in Time Square. We went to a taping of the Today Show on NBC. I made posters for us to show, however we had bad luck and were in the wrong place at the wrong time to show all the signs. However, I did manage to get "Where Y'at Margaux and Jax" on live TV. Could not see my face, just the sign, but mission accomplished!
After, we went back to the hotel and a car service drove us to the 9/11 Memorial. After going through several check points, we finally viewed the South Pool and North Pool. It was a very solum experience. We took our picture by the Tree of Life and viewed the new tower being built. When the new tower is finished it will be the tallest in the City.
We then walked to Battery Park to view the Statue of Liberty. It was far, but at least we got to view it with our own eyes. After having trouble with the car service, we took a cab back to the hotel to regroup. After lunch at the hotel, I had the concierge arrange for a new car service for Saturday.
We than jumped in a cab and went shopping at the Time Werner Center at Columbus Circle. There was a two story Coach store and we each purchased a purse. It took us 45 minutes to get a cab back to the Hotel. We felt like real New Yorkers standing in the street trying to hail a cab. We then went upstairs to rest before the show.
How exciting, a Broadway Show on a Friday night in New York! We went to see Jersey Boys at the August Wilson Theatre. It was a great show! We both sang and loved every minute of it.
Arriving back at the Hotel, we decided to order room service. It was fun to order Nachos and Ice Cream to eat while looking over time square. Truly living the Good Life!

Our new driver arrived on time. We lucked out and our driver Eddie was a local, he grew up in Brooklyn and retired from Rikers Island. We grabbed a Starbucks in the hotel lobby and headed to Hoboken, NJ to Carlo's Bakery, "The Cake Boss". We took the Hollund Tunnel into Jersey. We had pre-ordered so no waiting in line. We purchased canoles and cupcakes. The canoles were incredible and we took the cup cakes home to enjoy with the family.
We headed back to New York and our driver took us all over the city.
- Wall Street and the Financial District
- Battery Park and view Statue of Liberty
- Drove over Brooklyn Bridge and took us to view the Manhattan Sky Line
- China Town
- Little Italy
- SOHO to the Kardashian "DASH" store
- Lombardi's Pizza for lunch
- Drove past Central Park
- Drove through Harlem to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx
- After Yankee Game drove past Tiffany's and St. Patrick's Cathedral
- Final stop was taking my picture in front of Trump Tower where Celebrity Apprentice is filmed
Yankee Stadium was beautiful! We had great seats, between Home Plate and First Base. Unfortunately the Yankee's Lost, but still great just to be there.
We spent our last night in the Hotel Lobby overlooking Times Square drinking a bottle of wine and Nachos.

After waking up and packing, we went for one last walk in Times Square. We purchased souvenirs. After we stuffed our souvenirs in our suitcases, we headed to the JFK.
